As you probably have not noticed, I did a bit of clearing out of my gallery. I deleted some pictures and moved others to scraps just for old times' sake.
I may or may not be updating here again. Probably not very often, but you never know. Talking to some dear old friends made me remember how much fun putting art on the internet could be.
So, I put up a new piece today.

Yeah, I don't use FAC either anymore. Since I no longer do fanart nobody looked at my more recent pieces and it became a drag to post for nothing! Not that I use DA anymore either...I had to take a long hiatus from this kind of art because I had an art show in the spring that I was preparing for 2 years for and now I can't get back in the habit of drawing like I used to. Lack of inspiration maybe?
I'm going to New York for college in about two weeks so I've also been pretty busy.
Hey, I remember you live in NY! It would be really cool to meet up!! (Let me know if you want to, I'm kinda gonna be sightseeing with my family who're coming to help me move into my dorm, but I think it would be really neat to just say "hi" even!) I'll be in NYC from the 9-13-ish of August and then in Clinton for the next 2 years (my last two years of college will be study abroad).
What have you been doing of late? What are you into now? From your gallery it looks like you haven't been doing much drawing lately yourself XD
Your photographs are really interesting though.
Is that really you in "Birds?" I like the composition and colors of that one a lot.

Yea, I have been really mentally blocked when it comes to drawing lately....its kind of sad, but I can still express myself through photography. which is why you see a lot of that.

But yea, that is me in "Birds". I really like that one.... It was one of the last pictures i put effort into taking of myself. The rest has been mostly of others.

So yea, we should totally hang out or something when you come to the city. :)

Eh, it was alright. I didn't sell anything like one of my friends did, but I didn't think I would since my art was semi-anachronistic social commentary, not pretty photos of Japan. So it was fun because everyone liked to talk with me about my art, but I could've used the money! XD College is gonna kill me even though I'm so poor I only have to pay $5,000 a year (great scholarhip, huh? without it I'd have to pay $50,000).
